Privacy

wagestate is built to collect as little data as technically possible. This page explains exactly what happens when you use it.

What you type never leaves your device

All paycheck calculations run entirely in your browser, in client-side JavaScript. Your hourly wage, filing status, and pay frequency are never transmitted to us or to anyone else — the site makes no network request when you calculate. You can verify this by opening your browser's developer tools network panel: the only requests are the page itself and its static assets.

No accounts, no cookies, no tracking of inputs

There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no cookies set by this site. We do not see, store, or analyze anything you enter into a calculator.

Hosting logs

Like virtually every website, our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are not linked to anything you type and are not sold or shared.

Advertising

Ad slots are inert placeholders today. If an advertising partner is added later, this policy will be updated to describe what, if anything, that partner collects before any partner script is enabled.
